See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloIt won’t be long until fans of The Walking Dead are introduced to Negan, but if you don’t have the patience to wait until this Sunday’s season finale, AMC has released a photo of the iconic baddie. The image doesn’t show much but that’s the point; the focus here is really on Negan’s baseball bat, otherwise known as Lucille.
We actually got a brief look at the character in an international teaser last week and it was full of menace and intrigue. (Chances are you can track it down on YouTube.) In the teaser, there was a similar focus on Lucille, a weapon Negan uses to beat people to death.
In the comics, Negan uses it on a beloved character though it’s unclear if the show will follow a similar path. The show typically veers off from what occurs in the comics, so it’s not exactly the best barometer for what’s going to happen. In any case, Negan’s big reveal is coming and Lucille will be with him.
The Walking Dead Season 6 Finale will air a special 90-minute episode this Sunday.
