When it was revealed Sony and Marvel struck a deal to include Spider-Man in the MCU, many assumed the web slinger’s appearance in Captain America: Civil War would be brief. But, according to ScreenCrush editor Mike Sampson, who saw an early screening of the film, he actually has a pretty significant part.
Here’s the Twitter exchange in question:
@MarvelousRealm That's about right. Maybe 10 mins of Parker, a good 20 mins of Spidey.

Early reports from those who have seen Civil War say Tom Holland absolutely kills it as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and is one of the best parts of a terrific movie. We got a glimpse of the character in the latest trailer for the film but that was apparently just a tiny teaser for a much larger part.
Hearing the character gets around 30 minutes of screen time is great news for Spider-Man fans. In a movie already stuffed with Marvel characters, it’s also nice to find out he’s one of the best, if not the best, parts of the film. Hopefully his good first impression can carry over to his solo film, which hits theaters next year.
