After teasing an April release for his fifth studio album titled Views From the 6, Drake this weekend finally provided more details. According to the Canadian rapper, the album will be available April 29, but exclusively to subscribers of Apple music. You can see a trailer for Views From the 6 in the Tweet below.

If you’ve paid close attention to Drake’s career, learning that his album will be an Apple Music exclusive is no surprise. The rapper showed support for the service at WWDC and also released two new songs earlier this month that were first made available through iTunes and Apple Music.

The thing is, the exclusivity to one streaming service isn’t unusual, and that sucks for consumers. When Kanye West released The Life of Pablo, it was exclusive to Jay-Z’s Tidal, eventually making its way to other services. It’s unclear if Views From the 6 will be a timed exclusive but, for now, we’re going to assume Apple Music will be the only place to listen to Drake’s new music.

Either way, you’ll get to hear his new album on April 29, assuming you’re also subscribed to Apple Music.
