Ken Levine is taking on a side-project as his team works on whatever game they have next at 2K. This side-project? It actually sounds pretty darn compelling.
Levine is going to make a live-action, interactive science fiction flick in the world of The Twilight Zone. He revealed all of this in a exclusive piece over on Wired, which you can, and should, check out in the source link at the base of this post.
Basically, this live-action film will “explore the spaces between movies and games” with its interactive take on the genre. You’ll be able to switch between video streams seamlessly, and that’s where the interactivity occurs.
I’m not sure if this will work, but Levine referred to it as sort of a passion project for him. The game creator has always built games with a very Twlight Zone feel, so this could just be Levine looking to dabble in what got him into the game making business in the first place.
Color us intrigued.
