See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloIn typical Marvel fashion, there were mid- and end-credits scenes attached to Captain America: Civil War. And, unsurprisingly, they give us plenty of clues of what’s to come.

In the first scene, Cap and Bucky are seen in a secret lab immediately following Civil War’s conclusion. Bucky, of course, is one metal arm short after getting it blasted off by Iron Man. But that’s not why they’re in the lab. With no current medical procedure to keep Bucky from reverting back into an assassin, he decides to return to cryogenic sleep until a cure for his brainwashing is found.
It’s an important decision considering what happened in Civil War, and it also leaves Bucky’s future unclear. With Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Black Panther films all scheduled for the next few years, it doesn’t appear as though Bucky will return anytime soon. However, the place where he goes into cryogenic sleep could give us a big clue.
Before the scene ends, we find out that Black Panther had granted Cap and Bucky asylum in Wakanda, which could give us a clue when these characters might show up next—at least before Avengers: Infinity War in 2018. We don’t have any details about Black Panther’s solo film, but could Cap and Bucky have cameo appearances? That’s what the scene seems to be suggesting.
The post-credits scene, however, has more immediate implications, giving us a nice look at Spider-Man before he heads off to his next adventure in Spider-Man: Homecoming (which will feature Iron Man).
Sitting in his room back in Queens, Peter Parker reveals to his aunt he got into a fight with someone named Steve from Brooklyn, who we know is actually Captain America. It’s a cute little exchange, but it’s the next part that gives us a glimpse of what’s to come.
While fiddling with the tech given to him by Tony Stark, a Spidey face is projected onto the ceiling. This is actually the Spider-Signal, which was a powerful light emitted from Spider-Man’s belt in the comics. The signal was typically used as a way to announce his arrival to criminals, along with being a general light source in the dark.
We haven’t yet seen the signal utilized in Spider-Man’s movie appearances, but it looks like Homecoming is going to change that. In addition to acting solely as a signal, it also looked like the light featured information about Spider-Man’s suit and status, sort of like a mini Iron Man suit.
