See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloWith June upon us, HBO is announcing the noteworthy content coming to its streaming platform, HBO NOW. Most notable is the season 6 finale of Game of Thrones, which has been enjoying a great season filled with resurrections and badass fire scenes. Other finales include the Julia Louis-Dreyfus political comedy VEEP and Silicon Valley.
June also brings with it the premiere of heavily anticipated sports talk show Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons and the new documentary series Suited. Simmons joined the network after his exit from ESPN and the disbanding of Grantland.
HBO NOW is also adding a slew of new movies including The Martian, Ted 2, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and Independence Day, just in time to celebrate its 20th Anniversary and its sequel, Independence Day: Resurgence, due out later this summer. It’s not all good news, though; Kingsman: The Secret Service and X-Men: Days of Future Past are leaving the service by the end of the month. Watch them while you still have time.
