People were very upset with the way season six of The Walking Dead ended, which means fans are chomping at the bit for any new morsel of information. But if you think AMC is going to make it easy for spoilers to hit the internet, you’re sorely mistaken. Turns out, the show is going to great lengths to keep the season seven premiere a secret.

Note that there are spoilers for season six ahead.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, all of the major cast members involved with Rick’s group have filmed a death scene, which means even if someone did spy what was happening on set, only people in the editing bay will truly know what happens. When season six ended, Carl, Rick, Michonne, Eugene, Maggie, Sasha, Daryl, Arron, Rosita, Abraham, and Glenn were all at the mercy of Negan, but the show never revealed who he killed. It’s going to stay that way for the foreseeable future, and AMC is making sure of that.

Series creator Robert Kirkman has already said the character Negan kills is “beloved to everyone,” which honestly doesn’t mean much. All of the characters in the group are beloved to somebody, so it’s really tough to guess who that might be. If you’ve ever read the comics, you know what happens. But the show doesn’t always follow the comics to a T, so it’s probably a good bet who you think dies isn’t going to.

People have apparently gone to great lengths to get a glimpse of what’s happenings in Atlanta, where filming for the next season is currently underway, even going so far as using drones. However, with all the major characters involved in their own death scene, it’s unlikely we’ll know who actually dies until season seven premieres this fall.
