I’m not entirely sure what’s going on in the latest trailer for HBO’s Westworld but I have a feeling that’s the point. The upcoming sci-fi series, based on the 1973 film of the same name, tells the story of a futuristic theme park in which fantasies can be lived out. But all is not what it appears to be, and, as one of the characters warns, “Violent delights have violent ends.”
Starring Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, and Thandie Newton, Westworld is set for a debut in October.
