“Smells Like Teen Spirit” was an anthem for many in the 1990s, so it only seems fitting it would be recreated on floppy drives.
Paweł Zadrożniak enjoys playing famous music on his “Floppotron” which consists of 64 floppy drives, eight hard drives and two scanners. While he has hit famous compositions such as the Imperial March from the Star Wars saga, something just feels so right about hitting up Nirvana’s smash song of the 90s.
I never thought back when I was using equipment like this myself how musical it was, but as I think back now, I did always somewhat enjoy a dot matrix printer and a modem connecting. Makes me wonder what other songs could be lurking out there when you properly coordinate the right technology.
