Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson has officially been cast as Captain Marvel. The news was confirmed by Marvel at Comic-Con on Saturday; it’s excellent casting for a role that has been up for grabs for years.
Larson hasn’t been in Hollywood for long but has already starred in some wonderful movies, including Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Room, and the upcoming Kong: Skull Island. The actress will show up in Avengers: Infinity War as Captain MArvel before getting her own solo movie, Captain Marvel, in 2019.
