Rick and Morty season 3 is still set to premiere before the end of the year, but if you can’t stand the wait any longer we have some good news. New York Magazine got some of the cast together to improvise a few scenes of the show and the results are predictably awesome. Check out the full video, but be warned that it’s got some vulgar language and probably isn’t safe for work.
The short clip features show-creator Justin Roiland, who voices both Rick and Morty. He’s joined by Spencer Grammer, who plays Morty’s older sister Summer, along with co-creator Dan Harmon providing narration. Ryan Riddley, who’s written a handful of episodes and voiced various smaller characters, also helps out.
It’s probably safe to say the story above isn’t canonical. At the very least it likely takes place in another dimension and not the one our main characters inhabit. When Rick and Morty officially returns to TV we assume Summer will still be a high school student and Morty won’t be reduced to a floating eyelash, but with this show anything is possible.
