Disney Animation’s Big Hero 6 impressed audiences with its quirky cast and beautiful storytelling, and Disney is hoping to recapture that magic on the small screen in 2017.

According to Entertainment Weekly, when the Big Hero 6 animated series hits Disney XD next year, it’ll include most of the original cast—a big component in keeping the movie’s original charm.

The show will follow Hiro and Baymax as they deal with threats against the city of San Fransokyo. It’ll apparently take place right after the events of the film and see the team go up against scientifically enhanced villains.

Ryan Potter will return as Hiro, as will Scott Asdit as Baymax. Jamie Chung, Genesis Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph, and Alan Tudyk will also reprise their roles. Unfortunately, T.J. Miller and Damon Wayans Jr. aren’t going to voice Fred and Wasabi.

Does this mean there won’t be a sequel?

Miller’s departure is perhaps the biggest loss, as he added a lot of comic pizzazz to the role of Fred. However, the character was already funny, so we’ll see if Miller’s replacement, Saturday Night Live’s Brooks Wheelan, can fill those shoes.

No release date has been set for the show but it should hit Disney XD next year.
