Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is just a few weeks away and its marketing campaign is in full swing. To promote the movie, Warner Bros. and writer J.K. Rowling teamed up with Google to bring a fun and whimsical way to turn on your Android device’s flashlight.
If you’ve read any of the Harry Potter books or seen any of the movies, you’re aware of the multitude of spells used throughout the series. A few of those can now control your Android phone. “Lumos,” for instance, turns on your flashlight while “Nox” turns it off. “Silencio” puts your phone on silence. These tricks are pretty awesome.
You’re a wizard, Harry
On top of these spells, Google is also adding Fantastic Beasts-inspired Daydream VR content, a sticker pack in Allo, and a special Google Maps Street View of the Wizarding World. The Daydream feature will be available starting Nov. 10. Sorry iPhones users, none of these features are available for to you.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters Nov. 18.
