“World of Color – Season of Light” at Disneyland Resort is magic and beauty

“World of Color – Season of Light” at Disney California Adventure is a new show to celebrate the holiday season. World of Color is already beautifully designed with dancing water fountains and massive HD projections. But Season of Light seems to have an added beauty, it seems like the creative minds behind the show have learned new ways of manipulating water effects and lighting. I’d argue it is probably the most beautiful presentation of World of Color.

I’m always amazed at how a bunch of water screens and choreographed water fountains (1,200 fountains, to be exact) can make people “ooh” and “aahhh”. It is one thing to watch the show, but it also pretty great to hear the reaction of the audience as they experience it live. The photos above don’t do it justice. You’ll want to catch World of Color – Season of Light this holiday season.

Additionally, you’ll want to check out all the holiday offerings at the Disneyland Resort. Both parks are decked out with all the holiday décor and there are delicious themed treats throughout.  Favorite Disney attractions have gotten their holiday transformations like “it’s a small world” Holiday, Jingle Cruise (Jungle Cruise) and Haunted Mansion Holiday featuring scenes and characters from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas.

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is my favorite time to visit

You’ll want to check out the new offerings and get your picture taken in front of the giant Christmas trees or maybe even ask Santa for that new MacBook Pro. Plus, it snows nightly at Disneyland, even when it is 85 degrees in December. Now that is magic.
