The latest Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer shows that Peter still has a lot to learn about becoming a super-hero.
Just because you have superpowers doesn’t mean that you instantly know how to use them or the limits of what you can do. The new Spider-Man: Homecoming footage shows us that Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) – who has a lot to learn as well at times – feels the need to punish Peter for some of his actions by taking away the “toy” he was given in Captain America: Civil War.
It doesn’t appear that the movie will be one big downer, but it definitely looks like there will be some lessons we can walk away with.
With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility
One of the most famous lines from any Spider-Man story will obviously play a role in this new film, and that’s just fine. Seeing as we’re skipping the origin story this time around, a blessing we can all probably get behind, learning from example is fine by us.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7.
