Another trailer has hit for Transformers: The Last Knight, and it’s certainly looking as though the Earth is going to get the rough end of this one.
The last trailer for the fifth film in the Transformers film series shows Optimus Prime’s eyes turning a distinct purple Decepticon color, and something massive coming to destroy the planet. It’s still not clear if this is Unicron, but there is no other Transformer of a comparable size. Although, we still don’t know if this is a sentient Transformer or just a machine.
Bay going out with a bang
Michael Bay has said this is his last film in the series, although he also said that after the third and fourth films. With 14 more Transformers movies currently on the drawing board and a lucrative toy line to boot, it seems highly unlikely that Bay will destroy the planet on his way out the door.
Maybe he’ll just take out a few walls for good measure.
