Have you ever wanted to create your own superhero suit? Who hasn’t? We had the opportunity to team up with Sony for the Spider-Man: Homecoming Custom Suit Challenge, where we created a special DIY Spider-Man costume.
A few weeks ago, Sony approached us about a project it was working on in conjunction with the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The project involved crafting a DIY Spider-Man outfit that featured everyday clothing. Of course we said yes because we are lifelong Spider-Man fans. We were there when the first movie debuted back in 2002 and we’re just as stoked today to see the high-tech suit made by Tony Stark.
We bought random clothing items with the red and blue color scheme and slowly began creating our very own Spider-Man suit. We had to get creative with certain aspects but we think we did a pretty solid job.
Once completed, we drove up to YouTube Space in Los Angeles and joined other YouTubers to show off our designs. Unsurprisingly, Jon decided to put on the suit, and proceeded to pretend he is actually Spider-Man.
It was a fantastic experience to be a part of. Sony even had a very special surprise for us while we were at the YouTube Space. Let’s just say a very special friend makes an appearance.
