Twentieth Century Fox is going all in with its Marvel property by setting down dates for six unannounced movies due out from 2019 to 2021.

The ambitious move builds upon the three Marvel movies Fox has coming out next year: New Mutants (April 21), Deadpool 2 (June 1) and X-Men: Dark Phoenix (November 2). That brings Fox’s Marvel movie roadmap to a whopping nine movies planned in the next four years.

The dates Fox set down are:

  • June 7, 2019
  • November 22, 2019
  • March 13, 2020
  • June 26, 2020
  • October 2, 2020
  • March 5, 2021

Fox owns the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters. It just ended the Wolverine franchise, so possibly a reboot focusing on Laura may be one of the six movies it has planned out. As for Fantastic Four, Fox tried to reboot the franchise recently but failed miserably.

It’s unlikely the studio will reboot the franchise a third time, but anything can happen. After all, Sony’s Spider-Man is just entering its third life with Spider-Man: Homecoming. It just needs to be a lot better this time.

There has also been talk that Fox has Deadpool 3 and X-Men spin-off X-Force in the works. There may also be another X-Men movie in that timeframe that may take up one of those release dates.

When you include all the Marvel movies the MCU and Sony have planned, we’ll be loaded with Marvel movies for the foreseeable future.
