Castlevania has been quite the hit for Netflix, so much so that it has already been secured for a second season from the same production company. Netflix announced its continuation mere minutes after the first four episodes went live, and fans are eager to join Trevor Belmont and his cohorts on more violent, bloody vampire-hunting adventures.
No date has been set for the release of the second season, but it’s safe to say that these four teaser episodes easily got the attention that Netflix was looking for.
Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse is already one of the most popular and well-remembered entries in the series. Interesting characters, pitch-perfect gameplay, branching paths. Netflix tapped into one of the series’ best entries for inspiration, and there is still an entire game’s worth of content to pull from for future episodes.
