After coming to digital HD at the end of this month, Wonder Woman hits Ultra HD Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray (that’s still a thing?), Blu-ray and DVD on September 19. The disc will include, among other things, a bonus scene cut from the theatrical release of the movie.
Getting the band back together
If you pick up the Ultra HD Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and Blu-ray combo pack, you’ll get that deleted scene. The scene in question has Etta Candy – Steve Trevor’s secretary and Diana Prince’s first exposure to modern women – “getting the boys back together for a secret mission that could impact humanity’s future.”
Meanwhile, a “Director’s Vision” series of featurettes hosted by director Patty Jenkins are on the disc, as well as featurettes about the other Amazonian warriors, Wonder Woman’s place alongside Batman and Superman, the women who helped make the movie, and comments from “award-winning poets and inspiring public figures” about the impact of Wonder Woman. Some extended scenes and a blooper reel are on the disc, too. The DVD features everything but the deleted scene.
Wonder Woman hits digital marketplaces on August 29, and then makes its way to physical media on September 19.
