The original gang may indeed may be getting back together for Star Wars Episode VII, even the reclusive Harrison Ford.
Of the original three main actors in the Star Wars trilogy – Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford – Ford has been the most vocal about his mixed feelings about the series. It appears, though, that age – Ford is now 70 – may have mellowed the actor somewhat.
While attending a charity benefit in Chicago, Ford was asked by a reporter from WGN whether or not its true the original trio would be reforming or not. “I think it’s almost true,” Ford replied after some hesitation.” He went on to add, “I’m looking forward to it. It’s not in the bag yet, but I think it’s happening.”
The was a rumor a few weeks ago that Ford had already signed on to the project, but that now appears to have been slightly premature.
Ford will be seen in a slew of upcoming films including 42, Ender’s Game, Paranoia and Anchorman: The Legend Continues.
