Another brooding, moody shot of Ben Affleck as Batman has been posted, and he looks just as sad as he did in the first image we saw earlier this year. The image was posted by Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder, showing a dark closeup of Affleck’s famous chin underneath the Batman suit. It looks more like a studio portrait rather than something straight from the film’s set, but it’s awesome nonetheless.
The plot surrounding Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is still being kept under wraps, and with a release not expected until May 6, 2016, those details are likely a long way away.
It seems now’s the perfect time to be a comic book/sci-fi fan. We have Guardians of the Galaxy coming out Aug. 1, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant Man in 2015, and Captain America 3 (and another unknown Marvel film) and Dawn of Justice in 2016. We’ll also see Star Wars: Episode VII, Jurassic World and The Sinister Six come out over the next few years, too, along with many other great sci-fi and comic movies.
