Want to bring Transformers: Age of Extinction home? Then we’ve got just the contest for you!
Transformers: Age of Extinction is the fourth film in the global smash series, and now it’s making its way to home video. The folks at Dolby have graciously provided us with three copies of the film to give away to our readers to help celebrate the fact it is the first Blu-ray to be released using Dolby Atmos technology. While the technology has been used in 180 theatrical releases since it premiered with Disney’s Brave in 2012, the newest Transformers film is the first to use it in a home release of a film.
The latest technology from Dolby is used to allow filmmakers to move sound around a theater – including overhead – to give viewers a more immersive experience, and now that is making its way into our living rooms. Even if you don’t have an Atmos system yet, which the equipment launched this past June, you will still hear a better sound quality from your televisions speakers or existing stereo system.
