We’re finally get a bit of a look at what the Thing will look like in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.
Keeping Ben Grimm – aka The Thing – under wraps has been a tradition with every iteration of a live action Fantastic Four movie. Even dating back to that awful Roger Corman production, studios have wanted to keep the Thing’s appearance a secret until the last second as they know that’s what audiences want to see. Well, the upcoming 2015 version has now been shown off thanks to an international promotional banner.
SuperHeroHype forum user Charlatan stumbled across this banner and posted it to Instagram.
While the entire team is featured in the banner, it is of course Ben Grimm – portrayed by Jamie Bell – that is of the most interest. His face is definitely lacking a lot of feature definition, but he does look like he could easily pound you into the ground in a fight.
Hopefully a higher resolution image isn’t too far off, but at least we have some idea of what we can look forward to now.
Fantastic Four hits theaters on Aug. 7, 2015.
