We know The Flash movie is coming in 2018. Warner Bros. confirmed plans for the film last year as part its massive DC Comics cinematic road map. We also know it will star Ezra Miller as the speedy superhero, and now we may know a little bit more.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner has tapped Phil Lord and Christopher Miller to help out with the upcoming superhero flick. This is the same team behind The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street. They’re also producing The Lego Batman Movie, which is set to arrive in 2017.
Lord and Miller are apparently helping to develop and write the plot for The Flash, though they haven’t been signed on to direct the film. The Hollywood Reporter doesn’t offer any other details, but we’re guessing the movie will deliver plenty of laughs based on their recent track record.
2018 is still pretty far away, but we’re already excited to see Barry Allen (AKA The Flash) get his turn on the big screen.
