The entertainment vacuum is a fickle beast. One week there’s virtually no big news to speak of, and the next it all comes flooding in. This week just so happened to be one where story after story after story just kept flying in—and we’re glad. Some pretty wacky and fun stories hit our pages, from Five Nights at Freddy’s to our first clip of Jurassic World. But there was also plenty of stuff we didn’t get a chance to get too. Hint: some major details have leaked about the upcoming trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Below you can find all the stuff that we did, and didn’t, get to this week in the world of entertainment.

Deadpool set photos
It wasn’t long ago we were speculating about a possible Deadpool movie. Now that all the big pieces have been put into place, the studio is wasting no time getting this one off the ground. We already saw what Ryan Reynolds looked like in the famous Deadpool outfit, now get a load of what’s going on behind-the-scenes. [DailyMail]

Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer details
If you want to know absolutely nothing about the full-length trailer for that’s coming for The Force Awakens, I suggest you skip this section. According to people who have already seen it, the trailer is going to reveal quite a bit about which actor is playing what character. We should see Finn (John Boyega) wield a blue lightsaber, and we should also get a really good look at Kylo Ren’s helmted face; Kylo Ren was that cloaked figure we saw holding the controversial cross-guard lightsaber in the first teaser. The trailer is expected to be shown off at the Star Wars Celebration on April 16, so be on the lookout for that. [MakingStarWars]

Avengers: Age of Ultron featurette
If you want to learn even more about Age of Ultron, check out this new featurette, which shows some lovely behind-the-scenes footage. Mmmmm more footage. [LatinoReview]

Black Panther calls a Ghostbuster
We were glad to see Spider-Man get added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unfortunately, as a result, Black Panther was pushed back to summer 2018. Even still, it seems that all systems are go, and a new report claims T’Challa’s dad will be played by Ernie Hudson, who was part of the Ghostbusters team. Hey, not a bad choice at all. [LatinoReview]

The Incredibles 2 script is being written
I love The Incredibles, you love The Incredibles. We all love The Incredibles. So it’s with great pleasure to learn that director Brad Bird, who is busy gearing up to release Disney’s Tomorrowland, is currently in the early stages of writing a script for the animated follow-up. The Incredibles came out all the way back in 2004 (!), so the sequel is definitely overdue. [NPR]

Is there going to be a Harry Potter 8?
J.K. Rowling has always maintained that she’ll never rule out a return to the Harry Potter universe. And, indeed, she’s busy with the film adaptation for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. But she sorta, kinda, intimated that she would consider working on Harry Potter 8, but probably not. But maybe? We can only hope. [HollywoodReporter]

Avengers: Infinity War gets its writers
First the directors, and now the writers. Marvel stalwarts Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely has apparently been chosen to write the two-part Avengers conclusion, which comes out in 2018 and 2019, respectively. [BadassDigest]

Jared Leto’s Joker gets revealed
Jared Leto. Joker. That’s all you need to know. OK, so it’s not the best look at what the method actor will look like as the Batman villain, but you do get to see him mid-transformation. The Suicide Squad team has convened to begin filming for the much anticipated film, with the movie scheduled to come out in 2016. [DavidAyer]

Eddie Redmayne as Newton Artemis Fido Scamander
Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne is being sought after to play the role of Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The film takes place 70 years before the events of Harry Potter, and deals with completely different characters. No official announcement has been made, but I imagine one isn’t far off. [Variety]
