See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloThe Joker has finally been seen filming for Suicide Squad, and it appears he and Harley don’t always get along.
Over the weekend Jared Leto’s take on the Joker was finally spotted on location for the Suicide Squad movie. While some videos did appear online, Warner Brothers was quick to have them removed. From what you could see in the scene, Harley (Margot Robbie) steps in front of the Joker’s car and tells him to get out. An argument ensues involving Harley shooting an interrupting trucker and the Joker smacking her to ground at one point.
As is always the case with these two, it doesn’t appear to be a healthy relationship.
Judging by the set photos that appears on line, this is probably a flashback sequence to when Harley was Dr. Harleen Quinzel. Her hair is still all blonde, none of the tattoos she sports in the movie are visible and she is wearing street clothes and glasses.
For those unfamiliar with the distinction, Joker and Harley met when she was a young doctor at Arkham Asylum. She was not equipped to mentally handle the Joker’s machinations and he convinced her he loved her so that she would help him escape. Our guess is this scene has something to do with that escape and Harley realizing she has been used by the Joker.
Suicide Squad will hit theaters in the U.S. on August 5, 2016.
