The beautiful mug you see above – AKA Krang – will reportedly show up in the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Sources close to the movie’s production, via CinemaBlend, say the mutant super villain will join Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady as the baddies in the next TMNT adventure, which is also going to feature Casey Jones. A scene was reportedly filmed last week that involved Krang’s arrival to Earth through a portal.
Krang is one of the more hilarious TMNT villains, operating out of a tough guy robot drone that looks like he’d be a WWE character. In the cartoons, Krang had a kind of serpentine demeanor, slithering and otherwise grossing audiences out with his weird voice and even weirder laugh. He was a smart antagonist, but not particularly intimidating. I can only imagine what he’ll look like in the new TMNT universe.
With names like Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady, the turtles should have no problem defeating the mutants. I mean, just look at Secret of the Ooze; Toka and Raza were beaten with ease.
Not much else is known about Krang’s potential appearance in the upcoming film. For how bad the first movie was, the second might be worth it just to see a live-action Krang alone.
