It looks like the speculation can be put to rest: Batman does play some form of role in the Suicide Squad movie.
Rumors had been going around for some time that Batman would play some sort of role in the Suicide Squad movie, but nothing had been confirmed as of yet. While Ben Affleck had been spotted near the set, that still didn’t seal the deal. He may have just been visiting. Now new videos have surfaced, and they make it pretty clear that Batman does indeed take part in all of the action.
The videos were posted to Instagram on Monday night, and show the Batmobile chasing Joker’s car. We can’t tell who is driving the car, but it’s not like Batman just loans the Batmobile out to folks to take for joyrides.

Also of note are some new set photos taken by Margot Source which seem to show some sort of infected soldiers. It’s not clear what the deal is with their appearance, but it is clear that they are not your normal infantry.

We’re still not quite sure what the plot of Suicide Squad is, but it’s looking odder by the minute.
Suicide Squad will hit theaters on August 5, 2016.
