Here are all the big movies coming out in June

It’s the dawn of summer, which means it’s time for Hollywood to start churning out mindless popcorn flicks. And there will be plenty of them. We’ve already seen a few, including Age of Ultron and Mad Max, the latter of which looks like the movie to beat for the rest of the year. But this month also has its fair share, including the much-anticipated Jurassic World. (Please be good!)

While we already shared what movies you should watch out for over the course of the summer, we have a more focused breakdown of all the movies coming out this month. And it’s not just the sci-fi and fantasy films we’re excited about. There’s also Spy, Insidious: Chapter 3, and a little movie from Pixar called Inside Out. It’s going to be a good month.

What movie(s) are you looking most forward to?

Entourage

Are you an adult who refuses to grow up? Do you like to live vicariously through the romanticization of fame and fortune? Then Entourage, which was originally an HBO series, is the movie for you. When the most famous person in your movie is Jeremy Piven, you have a problem. I never watched the show, and I have no real desire to watch the movie. But I can understand why people are such fans. It’s like the modern day version of Animal House.

Insidious: Chapter 3

Acting as a prequel to the first two films, Insidious: Chapter 3 follows a young girl named Lillith, who attempts to contact her deceased mother with the help of a medium named Quinn Brenner. Spooky, right? Insidious has been a standout horror franchise over the past few years, and executives apparently agree; it’s not often you see scary movies come out in the thick of popcorn season, but here we are.

Spy

Melissa McCarthy has built her career around being the bubbling buffoon at the butt of jokes, and it looks like Spy will continue that trend. But while we’ll probably spend a lot of time laughing at McCarthy, she certainly has the talent to get us to laugh with her, too. And with Paul Feig at the helm, along with a star-studded supporting cast, Spy promises to be the 2015 comedy that Get Hard was not.

Jurassic World

No pressure or anything, but don’t mess this one up! Jurassic Park is a legendary piece of cinematic history, so Jurassic World has a lot to live up to. From what we’ve seen so far, our reactions are mixed. Chris Pratt taming raptors? A genetically modified dinosaur? The whole man vs. nature cliché? And all helmed by a relatively unknown director? No way this could go wrong.

Dope

Dope is a coming-of-age comedy with an urban twist. It follows a geek who struggles to survive among his peers in a tough neighborhood. A few big names are involved, including Forest Whitaker, but by and large it’s a film filled with a lot of young talent, including Tony Revolori, who was a big part of Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Inside Out

It’s been two years since the last Pixar film hit theaters, so all eyes are on the studios’s next big hit. Inside Out will focus on a young girl who struggles to acclimate with new surroundings. But it’s not just about her per se, it’s also about the voices in her head. You can bet Inside Out will be filled with plenty of humor, emotion and pretty visuals. I mean, just watch the trailer above.

Ted 2

A movie like Ted shouldn’t work; a talking teddy bear that curses and smokes. Funny, right? It was enough of a success to warrant a second movie, which looks like the most predictable comedy since Seth MacFarlane’s last movie, 2014’s A Million Ways to Die in the West. Ted 2 features the same band of characters, minus Mila Kunis.
