Apple Music streaming service will cost $9.99 per month

Apple unveiled its new streaming music service during WWDC 2015, dubbed Apple Music, and confirmed that it will cost $9.99 per month, right on a par with competitors such as Spotify and Google Play Music. That’s after a free 3-month trial when it debuts. 6 people can share a single plan for $14.99 a month.

Apple Music allows you to stream all of the music available on iTunes and listen to human curated playlists. There’s also a 24/7 live global Radio Station named Beats1 that’s broadcast from three cities around the world. A feature named “Connect” allows artists to share songs, demos, mix tapes, lyrics, sound bites and more.

The service will be available on June 30 for iOS and iTunes users (PC and OS X), and Apple said and Android version is coming this fall.
