See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloWarner Bros. doesn’t seem fazed by the critical response to Batman v Superman, as the studio wants to release even more DC movies in the coming years. Will one of them be a solo Batman movie? We hope so.
HollywoodReporter says the studio has shifted its schedule around to accommodate even more DC movies through 2020, with three in 2018 and three in 2019. Wonder Woman, which was scheduled to come out on June 23, 2017, has been shifted slightly to come out on June 2 of the same year.
Here’s how it’s going to play out. The movies being added are in bold:
- Suicide Squad: Aug. 5, 2016
- Wonder Woman: June 2, 2017
- Justice League Part One: Nov. 17, 2017
- The Flash: March 16, 2018
- Aquaman: July 27, 2018
- Untitled DC: Oct. 5, 2018
- Shazam: April 5, 2019
- Justice League Part Two: June 14, 2019
- Untitled DC: Nov. 1, 2019
- Cyborg: April 3, 2020
- Green Lantern Corps: June 19, 2020
In addition, HollywoodReporter says Jungle Book, which is being directed by Andy Serkis, has been moved back an entire year from Oct. 6, 2017, to Oct. 19, 2018; Serkis’ Jungle Book follows on the heels of another Jungle Book adaptation by director Jon Favreau, which comes out next Friday.
