A United Airlines flight attendant recently deployed an emergency slide and bailed out of the aircraft for unknown reasons. The good news? There wasn’t any sort of emergency. Maybe it was just a really, really bad case of the Mondays.
The incident, as it turns out, actually happened this past Monday after the 737 flew from Sacramento, California to Houston, Texas. Once on the ground and parked at the gate, the United Flight 1246 attendant launched the emergency slide and jumped down. Just totally peaced out while everyone else remained in the plane baffled as to why.

Business Insider said the airline is still trying to figure out what happened and why. “Although there was a medical situation reported on board, it was unrelated to the incident,” the news outlet explained.
Deploying those doors aren’t cheap and could cost as much as $30,000 once all repairs and replacements are made.
