Marvel has been more than willing to share trailers and brief TV spots for its upcoming superhero epic, Captain America: Civil War, but we have yet to see any actual clips. That is, until now. Ahead of the movie’s world premiere on April 12, two clips from the movie were shared, including one of Ant-Man geeking out during a secret rendezvous with Team Captain America.
In the first clip, Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) is introduced to Captain America, who Lang has an obvious affinity for. Rudd’s typical affable charm and likability shines through as if we’re the ones actually meeting the superhero. Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, and Falcon are there, too, the latter of whom is already acquainted with “tic tac.”
It’s a great, funny clip, one that’s both serious and funny.
The second clip shows the Avengers crew having a heated discussion about whether or not they should sign the Sokovia Accords, which would limit how and when the Avengers can take action. Both sides make some great points but I think I’m leaning more toward Captain America on this one. Also, check out Vision in some business casual attire.
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
