Late Night With Jimmy Fallon has held its Video Game Week for four years, but this time, the show may have outdone itself with gleeful cheesiness and sheer gamer geekery. When it comes to Jimmy’s “We Are The World…of Warcraft” karaoke crowd-sourced extravaganza, there’s only one word that can adequately describe it: Amazeballs.
The talk show host called on long-time nerd sweetheart Felicia Day (of Geek and Sundry) and Chris Hardwick (The Nerdist, Talking Dead) to lend their voices for this epic ode to the big kahuna of MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game). Singing along are WoW fans from all over the webs.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Fallon has gotten creative musically. His fun, simple and yet still incredibly impressive jams with major stars, backed by The Roots playing elementary school instruments, have become legend. With this latest turn, we now get to see him mash together his three great loves — music, tech and comedy — all in one clip.
All week, the show has been featuring demos, with the star checking out the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Ubisoft’s Watch_Dogs. Next on deck is Call of Duty: Ghosts and Super Mario 3D World, so be sure to tune in tonight to see Fallon’s take on the action.
