Suicide Squad has been slammed with harsh reviews, but it still went on to the biggest opening ever for August taking in $135.1M off of its $175M budget. Internationally it took in $132M for a global total of $267.1M.
2. Jason Bourne

Jason Bourne is the latest entry in the spy thriller series, and it took a 61.6 percent in its second weekend to land in second place with $22.7M for a new domestic total of $103.4M off of a $120M budget. Globally it sits at $195.31M.
3. Bad Moms
Bad Moms slipped just 40.4 percent in its second weekend to hold on to third place with $22.71M for a new domestic total of $51M off of a $20M budget.
4. The Secret Life of Pets

The Secret Life of Pets held on to fourth place this weekend with $11.56M for a new domestic total of $319.57M off of a $75M budget. Globally it stands at $502.17M.
5. Star Trek Beyond

Star Trek Beyond rounds out the top five with $10.2M and a new total in the U.S. of $127.9M off of a $185M budget. Globally it sits at $194.4M.
