Ahead of the first Star Wars spinoff in December, a special 3D version of The Force Awakens will be released, complete with beautiful new packaging. The new collector’s edition will be available on Nov. 15 in the U.S. and Canada.
The four-disc release comes with the movie on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, Digital HD, and DVD, so all your bases will be covered when the holiday season rolls around. In addition, the release will include exclusive bonus material, along with never-before-released audio commentary from director J.J. Abrams.
After the release on Nov. 15, the collector’s edition will then be offered around the world, including Brazil (Nov. 16), Holland (Oct. 31), Italy (Nov. 2), and Spain (Nov. 2), among other countries. All the bonus features from the home release back in April will be included on the new collector’s edition, too, making it the definitive edition for die-hard Star Wars fans.
