U.K. carrier EE is offering new and upgrading customers six months of free Apple Music worth £59.94 (approx. $79). The offer arrives just in time for next month’s Apple Music Festival, and EE has put out a hilarious ad featuring Britney Spears and Kevin Bacon to celebrate it.
This offer makes EE the first U.K. carrier to offer Apple Music access for free. You’ll need to sign up to a new pay monthly contract or SIM only plan, or upgrade your existing device by September 1. The offer is only available to customers who choose iOS or Android handsets.
The first six months of Apple Music is then free. Customers who wish to continue using the service will be charged £9.99 a month — the usual rate for an individual subscription — but they have the option to cancel the service at any time before they are charged.
EE is celebrating this promotion with a multi-million pound ad campaign featuring Kevin Bacon, the face of EE, and pop princess Britney Spears. Here’s the first hilarious ad:
