The fall season is upon us at the box office marking a dramatic turn in what we can expect to see.
1. Sully
The new Tom Hanks film, with Clint Eastwood directing, tells the true story of the ‘Miracle on the Hudson.’ Sully took in $35.5M in its opening weekend off of a $60M budget.
2. When the Bough Breaks
The new thriller When the Bough Breaks took in $15M in its opening weekend off of a $10M budget.
3. Don’t Breathe
Low-budget horror films have been doing well at the box office for some time now, and the trend continues with Sony Screen Gems’ Don’t Breathe which took in an estimated $8.21M in its third weekend for a new domestic total of $66.83M off of a $9.9M budget.
4. Suicide Squad
