Netflix still doesn’t like revealing streaming numbers but it has no problem telling subscribers when they got hooked on a particular show. For Stranger Things, it took viewers just two episodes to become hooked.

Netflix defines a “hooked episode” as one in which 70 percent of viewers who watched that particular episode went on to complete the season. For a show such as Jessica Jones, it took viewers four episodes to really get hooked and finish the series; the same goes for Making a Murderer and Master of None.

According to the data, the key to hooking viewers typically happens when something huge in the series happens. There are a few spoilers ahead. For Stranger Things, that happened in episode two because it really honed in on Will and his disappearance. For other shows, such as Jane the Virgin, it wasn’t until Jane rekindled an old flame in episode seven that got people hooked.

“We’ve always believed there is a universality to great stories,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix. “The internet allows us to share these stories with a global audience and what we see from the data is how similar our members watch and respond.”

You can check out the infographic below to see when Netflix’s latest shows really sunk their hooks into viewers. And get ready, because Marvel’s Luke Cage, which looks like another winner, is coming Sept. 30.
