Ben Affleck just revealed the title for his solo Batman movie

The Dark Knight? Arkham Asylum? Batman Begins? No, Ben Affleck’s upcoming Batman movie has a decidedly more simple title: The Batman. The actor shared the working title while doing promotion for his new film The Accountant.

There’s a chance the title could change between now and, well, whenever the movie comes out. For now, Affleck is going with The Batman until something better comes along.

“The movie I think is going to be called The Batman,” Affleck told the Associated Press. “At least that’s what we’re going with right now. I might change it… That’s about all I got right now.”

Affleck added that he’s currently working on the script and he’s excited about what they have so far. There have been multiple rumors about what Affleck’s Batman movie might be about, but don’t expect the actor to share any details.

Before we see him appear in his own solo movie, Affleck’s Batman will run the show (wearing new armor!) in next year’s Justice League.
