So, Deadpool didn’t land any nominations like everyone had hoped, despite getting buzz leading up to February’s ceremony. Really, it’s no surprise considering how strong the competition was. There’d be controversy had it replaced any of the Best Picture nominations.

While genre fans will be disappointed by Deadpool’s failure to garner a nomination, geek fans will still recognize a few names on the list. Denis Villeneuve’s Arrival got a Best Picture nod, as did Hidden Figures, a biographical drama about female African-American mathematicians at NASA. (If you haven’t seen either, do yourself a favor and check them out.)

But the real winner is Damien Chazelle’s La La Land, which grabbed 14 nods, tying Titanic and All About Eve for the record of most nominations. The critically-acclaimed musical has been scooping up awards left and right, so it’s no surprise to see it receive more love from the Academy.

Other Best Picture nominees include Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, Lion, and Moonlight, among others. On the animated front, Zootopia and Moana are up for feature film, along with the excellent Kubo and the Two Strings, a movie that went criminally underrated last year.

The full list of nominations is below. The biggest surprises? Finding Dory received no nominations, while The Lobster received a nod for original screenplay. (That’s another movie you should really check out.)

(I’m seriously disappointed Taika Waititi’s Hunt for the Wilderpeople didn’t get any recognition.)
