Ever since Iron Man, Marvel has helped popularize the post-credits scene. Things were taken up a notch in The Avengers, which included two post-credit scenes. Now, director James Gunn has revealed there will be a whopping five post-credits scenes in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
A recent article by Screen Rant stated that there would be four post-credit scenes in Guardians 2, but Gunn took notice and replied that there would be five, not four.
These post-credits scenes typically provide viewers with a tease of what’s to come. In the last Guardians of the Galaxy, for example, we got fun cameo of Howard the Duck. And at the end of Captain America: Civil War, we saw Captain America and Winter Soldier hiding out in Wakanda.

Whatever you do, don’t walk out after the movie ends
Five post-credit scenes is a lot. Who knows what these scenes will include, possibly a small teaser for Thor: Ragnarok or Avengers: Infinity War. But whatever you do, don’t walk out after the movie ends. Or else you’re going to miss a lot.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5.
