You’d freak out too if your best friend was Spider-Man.
In this first clip for Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) best friend, Ned (Jacob Batalon), is overwhelmed when he learns Peter’s secret identity.
“You’re the Spider-Man,” Ned says. “From YouTube.”
Hilarity ensues.
What’s great about the clip is Ned encapsulates pretty much all of our reactions to learning who Peter really is. Ned becomes so excited that he just wants to tell everyone.

“I’ll level with you,” Ned says. “I don’t think I can keep this a secret. This is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
In addition to being a hilarious exchange, it perfectly captures how these two young characters interact with each other. They were supposed to be finishing the build of their Lego Death Star, until Peter came crawling into his room.
Unfortunately, Ned’s astonishment led him to drop the Lego Death Star, which means they’ll have to start all over.
As if that really matters—Peter will have bigger fish to fry when he goes toe-to-toe with Vulture (Michael Keaton).
Spider-Man: Homecoming is set for a July 7 release.
