Deadline reports that some limited Pokémon content will be added to Netflix beginning March 1. Fans young and old of the beloved gaming series – which has spawned TV shows, movies, video games, and everything in between – will be able to enjoy the first season of Pokémon: Indigo League, which originally aired from 1997-1999—and more. The initial territories getting Indigo League will include the U.S., U.K., Ireland and Canada.

In addition, Netflix customers will be able to enjoy Season 14 of Pokémon: Black & White, which is one of the more recent seasons, coming out shortly after the namesake came out for Nintendo DS. Black & White will be available in all territories where Netflix is available, as well as two full-length Pokémon movies: Pokémon the Movie: Black – Victini and Reshiram and Pokémon the Movie: White – Victini and Zekrom.

The offerings don’t even begin to scratch the extensive library of Pokémon content, but it will no doubt please the Pokémon faithful. Hulu already has an extensive Pokémon library, so if Netflix’s portion doesn’t quite satiate your fix, you have other options. If you have no plans this weekend, look out for Pokémon to available on Netflix this Saturday.
