Check Out the Final Trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Sony on Tuesday released the final trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ahead of its May 2 release, and the drama is really being ramped up. This movie just keeps looking better and better.

We’ve seen quite a bit of footage over these past few months, giving us glimpses of each villain Spider-Man will battle in the upcoming sequel. Rhino, Electro and Green Goblin all make appearances in the latest trailer, as does Spider-Man/Peter Parker’s love interest, Gwen Stacy. The trailer is still dominated by some really beautiful action set pieces, though we still get that lingering feeling that something really big will happen between Parker and Stacy.

Similar to the previous trailers, the sharp wit familiar to Spider-Man fans is still represented, and the mystery of Oscorp is becoming even deeper. At what cost, as the trailer suggests, will the truth about Oscorp reveal? That fight scene between Green Goblin and Spider-Man really has me nervous, especially with Stacy caught in the middle.

We’ve seen Spider-Man get out of some pretty sticky situations, but going up against three different villains at once might prove to be too much. I can’t wait to find out what happens.
