DC has a whole lot of films on its plate right now, and it just added a couple more, scheduling them for release in 2020. Despite the announcement, the DCEU’s schedule is less certain than ever. Here’s the list as it stands. With Wonder Woman in theaters and doing gangbusters, Justice League is set to hit theaters on November 17, 2017. After that, Aquaman will release on December 21, 2018. The two newest additions are currently a mystery, aside from that they’re DC movies and that they’re set for February 14 and June 5, 2020.

DC has a number of films in various stage of of development, with some well under way while others, like The Flash, are having one difficulty after another.

Films currently confirmed to be “in development” include:

Wait, more?

Perhaps the weirdest part of the new announcement is those specific release dates. With so many of these movies currently floating from one date to another, why would they put such specific dates on unannounced titles? Furthermore, with both Cyborg and Green Lantern Corps set to release in 2020 and Cyborg confirmed for April, we’re talking about three DC superhero films just in the first half of the year.

I’d be willing to bet that a lot of the movies on this list don’t end up seeing the light of day. It’s possible, too, that the untitled movies DC is talking about are movies in that list that haven’t received official reveals.

San Diego Comic-Con is under way and we can likely expect some firmer release dates in the near future.
