LG will release its first wearable devices in the U.S. on May 18, the company announced today, unveiling a pair of gadgets with an emphasis on fitness tracking. The LG Lifeband Touch is a wristband with a design similar to Nike’s Fuelband, while Heart Rate Earphones offer the same service that a questionable rumor suggested Apple might introduce with a redesigned set of EarPods.

The LG Lifeband Touch offers a 0.9-inch OLED display with touch controls and a 90mAh battery. The device’s main purpose is to track your daily workout using a pair of built-in motion sensors, though you’ll also be able check incoming calls or messages, and even control your music from your wrist. It’s compatible with both Android and iOS via Bluetooth and works with either LG’s own Fitness App or other popular alternatives including MyFitnessPal, Runkeeper and MapMyFitness.

Meanwhile, LG’s Heart Rate Earphones are designed to work alongside the Lifeband Touch but also function as a standalone product. The device offers a 200mAh battery, Bluetooth connectivity and hands free calling. When synced with LG’s Fitness App, the new headphones will send the wearer audible updates based on their heart rate and oxygen levels.

Both devices will arrive in the U.S. starting on May 18 before rolling out to other markets in Europe and Asia within the next few weeks. LG hasn’t announced pricing for the new products. When the company began selling the Lifeband Touch in Australia earlier this month it priced the fitness tracking wristband at AU$199 (roughly $186.42), though it will probably cost $199 here in the U.S. as well.
