After teasing us with a glimpse yesterday, the tarp has been removed to reveal the Batmobile we’ll see in the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman film, along with the Caped Crusader himself.
In a fairly surprising turn of events, we’re already getting our first look at the new Batmobile and Batman in the picture above (click for a larger view). Typically studios like to keep these sorts of things under wrap for as long as possible, but my guess is there are plans for outdoor filming shoots with it, so it’s better to control the first look at the iconic vehicle as opposed to some blurry telephoto shot from a good distance away.
As for whether or not that is Ben Affleck in the costume, Zack Snyder did not say in his tweet, but it is believed to be him.

I have to say, the car looks awesome, and Batman himself looks amazing. It reminds me a lot of Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns artwork, which I am all for.
If this is a hint of what is to come, bring on Batman Vs. Superman and the rest of the Justice League!
