It’s not much—ok, it’s actually next-to-nothing. But Legendary Pictures on Saturday posted a ten second video for the upcoming Warcraft movie, and all it is is the title screen. This is the movie, even among Avengers 2, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and even Star Wars: Episode VII, that many people have been waiting to see. The film is being directed by Duncan Jones, who previously helmed Moon and Source Code, and is set to come out March 11, 2016.
Not many details about the upcoming film are known, though it is being based on the beloved Warcraft video game series, and is set on the world of Azeroth. Early details suggest it’ll portray an origin story of encounters between humans and orcs, and feature characters such as Durotan and Lothar.
The film is already in post-production, which means everything is just about wrapped up. Hopefully that means those of us who didn’t get to attend Comic-Con will see an actual teaser trailer sometime soon—likely before another sci-fi/fantasy epic. Either way, the above title screen should be plenty to tide people over until footage is released.
